Earth Day

To kickoff Earth Day, South East Iowa Architects Section, (SEIAS), held a Spring Planting Event Thursday, April 21 at the Moss Plant Shop in Cedar Rapids.

Structural Design Group’s Dave and Holly Rasmussen attended and participated in the free fun and educational experience.  Each participant was allowed to choose a houseplant and planter, and potted it up alongside friends with the guidance of a Moss plant pro.  The event was very enlightening and informative providing knowledge of how to care for the plants at home.  The benefits we gain from having plants are improved health and well-being, so let’s continue our efforts for a more sustainable and healthy earth.  Happy Earth Day Every Day!
