Cedar Rapids Downtown Development

Cedar Rapids’ downtown mixed-use development project, 1st and 1st, will break ground soon and is expected to be “indicative of a city on the move!” Structural Design Group is located in Kingston Village, which is an area of downtown Cedar Rapids bounded by the Cedar River on the east, Sixth Street on the west, First Avenue on the north and Eighth Avenue on the south.

Recently, Kingston Village and downtown Cedar Rapids has seen an upswing of residential, commercial, and recreational development and the area is positioned to include even more in the months and years ahead. The 1st and 1st project will be broadening the growth of Kingston Village and we are energized that we are able to watch this economically stimulating development from our office!
